About Our Firm
Hackman Hulett & Cracraft, LLP was founded in 1929 as Thompson Rabb & Stevenson. With more than 80 years of experience serving our clients’ legal needs, Hackman Hulett & Cracraft focuses on exceeding client expectations. We preserve the personal confidence and trust developed between our clients and their attorneys while providing superior quality, timely and cost-effective services.
The team at Hackman Hulett & Cracraft counsels corporate, nonprofit and governmental organizations that engage in a variety of business transactions, including mergers and acquisitions. We represent clients before federal, state and local administrative agencies and handle litigation as well as arbitrations and other forms of alternative dispute resolution. Our attorneys also advise and represent individuals with personal matters such as estate planning and administration, charitable giving and guardianships.
We have a business-oriented civil practice that, while not a “boutique,” focuses on select practice areas in which we provide quality legal work. By focusing our practice, we are able to maintain a size that engenders successful and cost-effective client relationships. Some of our client relationships span many decades.
Success as a small law firm requires that we have the right people. All of our attorneys graduated at or near the top of their law schools classes or otherwise have distinguished themselves as attorneys. Our attorneys not only are bright and competent in narrow practice areas, they also are generalists to some extent and, because most of our clients are not exclusively served by a single attorney, possess interpersonal skills that allow them to effectively work together.
