The firm’s real estate practice involves representing clients in real estate transactions and related litigation. Specifically, such matters include property acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, zoning and land use restrictions, environmental regulation, historic preservation, architectural and construction arrangements, mechanic’s liens and eminent domain. Clients include owners, brokers, developers, landlords, tenants and governmental entities. Additionally, attorneys in the firm have assisted real estate companies and associations by participating in training programs involving real estate and agency law issues, as well as by preparing legislative proposals affecting the real estate industry.

Attorneys in the firm represent both borrowers and lenders in connection with debt financings related to real estate transactions, which may include preparing and negotiating loan documents, handling loan closings and issuing legal opinions. The firm also provides representation in connection with equity financing arrangements such as partnerships, joint ventures and syndications.
